Thoughts Of You
26 August, 2003
Author: Melisa Miller
This beautiful life of mine is being wasted here on thoughts of you.
The words you told me run through my mind
like it was just yesterday that they were said.
I think about you every waking moment of my life.
I dream of what we could have been every night.
I am so sorry for the things I did to make you turn away.
What did I do?
What did I say?
You said that you'd always love me,
but I guess you've changed your mind.
I never did.
I told you I would love you forever, and I still do.
So many cold and lonely nights after you went away,
and still I sit here loving you more than anything.
This is all because my mind is filled with thoughts of you.
