Adulthood
16 August, 2002
Author: Barbara Goodhew
Couldn't wait to be an adult.
No more times that are difficult.
Fear, disaappointment,betrayal all gone.
Well no one told me that the bigger you get so does the fear, disappoinment and betrayal.
The difference they say as an adult we can handle it all.
I'm still a child I guess

Meridian (64.12.117.20) -- Thursday, March 25 2004, 11:34 am How's life treating you Ms. Barbara Ann Goodhew? Good? Oh, I'm glad to hear that! I know some other people who feel the same way as you when it comes to adulthood, and then when they get there, they wish they were 10 or 20 years younger! I like "I'm still a child I guess" because it adds the reflective side of facing reality. Even though you had an illness, you have all the good qualities and good morals in which make you an honest, outstanding, funny, and intelligent person! Lovely poem about "Adulthood" Have fun now.............. Meridian |
