Before Midnight
29 January, 2001
Author: Mental
The moon
was high noon
over her i did swoon.
the ice-lets
were forming
the warmth was subdued,
her feelings were dorming
her actions were lewd.
how could i have cried
how could i know
i already died
before my feelings i could show.
i experienced my first kiss
before the daunting twilight
with her i could never miss
all this before midnight.
