The Sound Of My Patience
24 January, 2001
Author: Mental
The sound of my patience
is yelling
the yearn to be home
it consumes
the clouds of society they hover over me
and over my head it looms.
i'll take all of my daydreams and ponder
i'll give them all to the night
all of the days will be vacant
and all of the daydreams will say goodnight.
the salt of of my tears are embedded
they scrape as they roll
it feels as if my soul has been shredded
never quick but always slow.
