Midnight Realities
28 August, 2002
Author: Mental
The overdone look
of midnight reality
it's a better life
that's a brutality.
looking so overwhelmed
praying under the milkyway
you wanted to leave
i wanted to stay.
there was hope
when i looked in your eyes
the morning i could not cope
such a clever disguise.
soaked up and soft
took my emotions
up and aloft.
to much to hold
especially
if your hard and cold
