Redeemed
21 December, 1999
Author: Mental
You put on your soft eyes
your intentions
were in disguise
and then you played me empty
and i was in surprise.
you put out your casting net
i was entangled
at the night we spent
how could i recover
when i can't forget.
i remember the nights i couldn't stay away
i was embraced
what you whispers had to say
by that time my systems were interlaced
and the nights faded away.
the light was there
but it wasn't needed
the frozen eye stare
your intent was seeded.
from your conscience fight
you had to redeem yourself
just for the night.
you played my illusions
of the future i dreamed
something wrong happened
my tears were showing as they streamed.
you didn't care
your true thoughts you revealed
a tragic snare
my tears i concealed.
