Freedom

To be a bird would be nice.

Soaring up high in the sky.
Nobody to give you unwanted advice.
No stresses, when weather turns cold fly to warm places.
Tour the world for free.
Oh to be a bird and to be that free.

Freedom.....and stupidity

The vision of freedom i got from this poem was beauitful Barb!! I could see myself soaring through the sky unwanted advice free!!

Then my freedom was rudely interrupted by someone with a stick shoved up there arse! Loved your responses back to her Barb!

Beautiful

This is a beautiful poem Barb and I wish I was that bird with the freedom you described so well. You really do write so well for your age, despite what another person thinks...I think from what LinzAy says that person may be in may be in pain!!

Your poem Rose

Rose, Rose, bad comments your not suppose
Perhaps your mind is tired, staying up late with no-dose
Have you no feelings, for those you impose?
Rose, Rose, get a grip, go plant some rose
Be nice to seven year olds, because your too old
To understand a nice poem that was told
Be a bird, fly away in the rain
Your unwanted advice, a pain
Soar high Rose Goodgrace, Your the disgrace
I'm 5 years old.

Simple yet, beautiful!

Simple logic, written in simple words, beautiful expression, wish I could fly. Simple words, that feel so clean and fresh. I love the freedom your words express. A little bird that can escape the summer heat and winter cold while we throw wood on the fire or try and get our air conditioner fixed! I love this short story, not bad for seven year old.

Barb, what a compliment to have someone think your ten again?

Thank You,
MartinV
