Heartless Wooden Puppets
3 February, 2002
Author: Mike Schiller
(Original Short Version)
Heartless wooden puppets
dancing madly as they struggle
to find their own selves
to find their own lives
yet their strings intertwine
while their souls are alone
They live on the same stage
but they see different scenery
The things that one might cherish
Are discarded by the other
The puppeteer flings the two puppets together
Smashing them into one another's lives
They dance madly as they struggle
to finds their own selves
They remember the same experiences
The ones they had together
But their memories of them are different.
It was the puppeteer's fault.
