In The Stars Above
30 November, 2003
Author: Moonlight
Your love lifts me up,
Into the stars above.
your eyes a blue wonder,
shine deeply like that of saphire.
your inner light shines like the brightest star.
But like a star you are so very far away.
You look in the mirror,
You say you are fat.
I wonder how you can look into the mirror,
and see anything but beautiful.
I love you so deeply.
I love you so much.
You have reached parts of my heart,
that have been long eclipsed.
Its the way you look at me.
As if i am everything you need.
Your love gives me the strength i need,
the strength i need to hold on.
To never forget who i am.
To always stand up for what is right.
You are my shining star.
I hope you always remember the me.
As i will always remember you

Silkened Moon (204.32.64.76) -- Wednesday, December 3 2003, 11:45 pm Bravo! Moonlight, I love this poem, its so romantic and intimate. I love this type of poetry, any poetry having to do with nature, love, thought, or profoundness has me by the hook! I loooooooove this poem you wrote, however did you find the words? Your pretty gifted. You know what, you sort of remind me of myself in this poem. Do you like nature? By the way you wrote this poem, you gotta! So far, I love the poems you've written. Keep writing, its a treasure, as poets, should never let go of! |
