Teardrops
22 December, 2003
Author: Moonstarshine
Pearly raindrops from the sky above
mingled with the sparkling ray of sun;
opens a fan of myriad hues
a beautiful dispersion for the world to see.
Warm teardrops fill my eyes
mingled with memories spent with you...
a beautiful emotion stirred with love
but not for anyone else to see.
In every tiny drop of dew
as it slides down my cheek
a beautiful reflection of only you...
is but all that I am able to see.
If you could catch my eyes...then,
maybe you would also see
an image of you...mirrored with love
a beautiful transition of you...in me.

Silkened Moon (204.32.65.164) -- Monday, December 29 2003, 02:19 am This poem had a sort of dash of sweetness, pinch of elegance, teaspoon of warmth, and a cup of dreams! I say this poem is all around precious to profound touch itself. Nice work, keep writing and keep reading! |
