Life

Life...colours itself with beautiful moments,
at times washes it with tears of sadness,
It wears serene sheets of calm seas,
sometimes wraps itself in ripples of unease...
It welcomes hopes and dreams with a smile,
sometimes closing doors with bolts of denial.
It spreads petals of happiness and bliss...
on the uneven grounds of deep distress.
It unravels the meaning of giving and sharing,
the tender emotion of 'loving and caring'...
It can tear into pieces a loving heart...
when loved ones from our lives depart.
I hold on to the memories of the dear ones gone by,
treasuring their love as time flows by...
Life continues its journey, nudging me to move on...
left behind are sad markings for me to cry upon...

I mean, look at your words...your poetry...sheer poetry! These poems belong in a book, not a website! I bet if you were to publish a book of such poems, you would be one famous poet of the new generation. These are poems that we should be reading now adays, poems that grasp the profoundness of the human soul! Once again, consider one of your greatest fans! |
