Tell Me...do You

Bare your heart and once be true.
If you love me then say... you do.

Do you hear the gentle wind
ever so softly whisper my name?

In those times of a lonesome you
do you ever whisper the same?

Do you place me in your heart,
nearer to every breath you take,

and as you close your eyes... do you...
see a glimmer of me in you?

Does the shadow of my being
tenderely embrace you in your dream?

Tell me if you love me so...
the way I do... I need to know

...silent to hear a pin drop.....

This one was so touching, I can't believe how you can come up with such words, such inspiration! Where do you get such inspiration? I would really like to know, due to the fact, I get inspiration by nature and love and I wonder if someone else is the same way?
Your poetry, is absolutely exquisite, as far as I can see! And that's because this is only the second poem I've read of yours! Nice!!!
