Colours Of The Heart

Canvas of my heart, woven in dream webs,
turning richer and brighter
as passage of time ebbs;
landscape of memories, though old but never turning grey,
tender as strands of silk with each passing day;
yet, somewhere within the core of my heart
lie empty spaces, so near yet so far apart,
wanting to be filled with rainbow hues,
myriad of colours, some old, some new.
And as I spin the magic of dream,
the strands become one and spaces in between
merge together with shades all new...
my canvas is filled with thoughts of... you...

Its such a profound and fantasy filled sort of way of telling others what you see in your eyes everyday.
