Cruel World
4 April, 2004
Author: Leah06
I try to close my eyes
To lock out all the hate
To forget all my problems
To a place I can create.
Where no body can touch me
No sorrow and no pain
Where there is nothing to lose
And all the more to gain.
Where all I content
No one cries at night
Love is never lost
Punks never fight.
Preps never drink
Jocks never die
Families never drift apart
Fathers never cry.
My world seems almost perfect
No one ever gets hurt
Too bad I cannot create this world
Until I am 6ft under dirt.
For now I will have to suffer
While we cause each other pain
We never earned a happy ending
We deserve to live in vain.
