Eternity
27 March, 2002
Author: Morgan Marie
What do I want in life?
What does any girl want?
But to be loved,
to see the rain fall upon the face of her one true love
and to find that he is eternally near,
near enough to wipe the tear,
the tear from her eye when the day has gone astray,
to feel things that words cannot say.
To get the heart into a bind
and only love consumes the mind.
A taste of flesh upon their lips,
to touch it with their finger tips.
Love us but a simple knowing of passion,
trust and hope,
without it one must simply mope,
mope through the days that they call mine,
but mine only to use to pine,
pine for that love to be with me,
I shall search for that love for eternity.
