The Mad Hatter's Lot
8 February, 2003
Author: Mukhthar
Carl is awakened by the sun's rays,
Pre-empting his studious, solemn ways,
Another graduate in the big city;
Dreaming of success in the Industry.
With the moon reappears the Mad Hatter,
His heart races, his eyelids flutter,
Cracking the codes of the lucrative e-maze;
Breaching the firewalls of cyberspace.
Weedling money out of poor investors-
Are the scheming, ruthless Webmasters,
Charging the masses for services never rendered,
Carl's the Godsend, the Divine Disaster.
In this tense high-tech drama,
Carl effeciently plays his part,
Painting a new world panorama;
Is the Mad Hatter's lot.
