In My Dreams

In my dreams as i float
I see this wonderful river
A river that is full of memories
memories that will never disappear.
Lost friends and lost time
time fleets, will it ever be mine?
Lonely tears as i cry along
joyous moments they sing a song.
Swept by the wave of sadness
tossed by the tides of glory
lost in this lonely river
is this a man's endless story?
As i swim to the shore i discover
that they are my thoughts
so dear as ever to my very heart.
