Peaceful Dream
13 January, 2001

I worship a world of handshakes not weeps
I live in a world where war is no longer and
there is no such thing as anger
I admire a world where people are happy
where people can thrive without all that money
where storms are not power, and raging rivers
are streams
where the blind can see freelly and that C word
called cancer is merely a cold
where weapons with bullets hold water instead
and homelessness is buildings with mansions
instead
and then i awake and see the real world
it was only a peaceful dream i was in.
