Letting Go But Not Forgetting
10 March, 2002
Author: Olly Man
I hate knowing I let my one and only go
Your so precious, that is something I'd like to let you know
Forget you forever is something I can't do
Just because I really care about you
My heart was broken, for you I would've quit smokin'
I want to be removed from earth
Just because, people have hated me since my birth
Go to a better place
Where I won't feel as if I'm a big disgrace
I'll watch over you
For the next hundred years
That's something I would love to do
I'll take care of all your fears
I wish I could be here to, take care of you
But for some reason your stopping it
That's why I feel this is such bulls__hit
I know we're going to go our separate ways
Everyday it's you I'll miss
I'll dream of you every year, all the 365 days
I was so scared to reveal all of this
A friendship never gained, a love that was lost
A friendship of happiness drained,
why was such a good future tossed
I hope nothing will ever take you away
I want to know your alive and well each day
Me on the other hand, if you understand
Will be watching over you, my love
Waiting for the day you can join me up above
Before I go
I'll let the whole world know

Meri (152.163.100.197) -- Wednesday, June 8 2005, 02:17 am The rhymester is in the house! Letting Go But Not Forgetting; truly self explanatory. You are grudgingly letting go the love of your life, and doing what you think is best for her even though you wish you two could still have that fire... Your poem is shining like a ruby! I love it, I love it, I love it! |
