New Identity
2 July, 2002
Author: Paige
I look around the shop
Searching for a new idenity
So many choices
new eyes, hair, and fingernails
I hope all of this will change me
But as i arrive home with all my goods
I realize i can never change what i have become
I sit down and start to cry
Just wondering why?
than i stop crying
Because i realize there is nothing i can do
This is my life

Martin Vann (171.75.232.148) -- Friday, September 5 2003, 11:32 pm Paige, At one time or another, we all, wish we were someone else, yet, there is a little hell in everyone's life, sometimes a lot. The greenest pastures are the one's we nourish, no one else, can do it for us, unles we have that tiny, mustard seed of faith in ourself. Try this, put faith in one hand, and in the other, a pair of dice, next, throw the contents of both hands up against the wall of life. Once this is done, let us know, what stuck, which hand won, okay? MartinV P.S. Dynamic poem! |
jenna (212.85.4.91) -- Thursday, October 16 2003, 06:09 pm this is something i think all teenagers going through identity crises can relate too. keep up the good work |
Lincy (66.252.228.56) -- Tuesday, November 4 2003, 05:51 pm After reading your poem all I could do was sigh, "hmm" You hit the bulls eye on how many people feel, when they have something in their life that they aren't to proud of and they want to erase it but they can't. You put all those feelings and emotions in a few lines. Nice Job! |
