When Poetry Dances
13 March, 2004
Author: Pamela O'Brien
Graceful phrases
Pirouette on the edge of the paper
Leap across the page
With a purpose
Tender words
Tip-toe back and forth
Leading into what will be
The final twirl
Gentle pauses
Suspended in mid-air
While the audience
Holds their breath

MartinV (67.28.90.24) -- Thursday, March 18 2004, 03:55 pm Pamela, This is one of the most beautiful poems you have ever presented in my opinion. I feel the words and see them come to life, so delicately and honestly so, very refreshing. Your words Remind me of the little bits of dust that became little balerinas which danced upon the stage of a warm, sun's ray. Excellent and very, very delicately, sweet. MartinV |
