Purgatory Of The Soul
23 February, 2004
Author: Pamela O'Brien

And so it is
That my soul is incognito
No longer one
With it's temple

Lost and meandering
With so many others
It can see
But cannot touch

It can hear
But it cannot be heard

It can sense
But cannot be sensed

In a place
Halfway between awareness
And denial

In Purgatory of the Soul
Where uncertainty
Is the oxygen &
Confusion the blood
