No Home - No Hope
8 October, 2003
Author: Pamela O'Brien
I'm coming home again
Back to the place where I began
I left to find my soul
I left my heart at home
Take a journey through my mind & you'll see
That I do have a reason for everything
I will pack up my bags and I will suddenly leave
Whenever I feel the need
And someday soon
I'll leave this place because I have to
But I'll return
To ask how you are and where you were
Don't be surprised
If I abandon my entire life
Just to come back home
Where I belong
I feel at home again
When people ask "Where have you been?"
I left my world behind
To see what else I could find
Take a journey through my mind & you'll see
That I do have a reason for everything
All the places I go and all the people I meet
Have become a part of me
And someday soon
I'll leave this place because I have too
But I'll return
To ask how you are and where you were
Don't be confused
If you don't understand my point of view
When all is said and done
I'll be gone
Where is my home again?
Is it here with you, my old friend?
Because I come & go
I guess I'll never really know

Pamela (66.38.146.7) -- Sunday, October 12 2003, 11:39 pm Thank you Terrie! This is a song I wrote and I couldn't help but post it because it's one of my favorites. It's strange because it talks about how much I love being home but how much I love going away...... Anyways, thanks again :O) |
