Driving In The Rain
28 September, 2003
Author: Pamela O'Brien
I've known you since so long ago
How come we've never been here before?
Tonight, we spoke on another level
Sharing secrets with one another
A quiet drive on a rainy night
No awkward silences or questioning why
The last two people in the pub
Planning all the good times to come
You and I are made of music
Ready for something and ready to prove it
You've known me so for many years
How come we've never been here?
Maybe tomorrow we can do it again
Go for a quiet drive in the noisy rain
