Dim The Lights
16 September, 2003
Author: Pamela O'Brien
Close the curtains
Dim the lights
I'm going to show you what it's really like
Shut the door
Unplug the phone
Now you are going to really truly know
Turn of the radio
Disconnect the T.V
This is how quiet and dark it is inside of me

Martin Vann (171.75.221.92) -- Friday, September 19 2003, 02:42 pm Pam, I feel comfortable, in your quiet, dark place and feel peace, restfulness. A hard place to find today, I may have missed your intent here, but this is how your poem made me feel. Very nice. MartinV |
Pamela (66.38.146.116) -- Friday, September 19 2003, 05:08 pm I don't think you missed the intent at all Martin, that's kind of what I was aiming for. Some people might interpret is as depressing, but I meant it as peaceful. Glad you liked it :O) |
