Second Chance

This one time in particular
You stopped me in the middle of the street
And declared your love for me

Or the first time we ever kissed
Overlooking a sunset scenery

When you would always walk me home
To make sure I got there safe
Even though I lived 2 minutes away

Or the way you hugged me on my steps
When I was begging you to stay

Looking back on it now
I become so sentimental
You and I, we really had potential

No chance for us now
Unless the feeling is mutual

This guy.....

Thank you so much for reading this poem and commenting on it as well. Me and this guy broke up over a year ago, haven't spoken in months and months now. He has moved away and I don't really think we'd ever be together again but this poem came from the part of me that knows we could have gone down a different path. My advice to you readers-if you ever have something to say to an ex lover, just say it. It's a lot less painful then waiting until it's too late.
Thanks again for reading! :o)
