Fading Feelings
13 July, 2003
Author: Pamela O'Brien
Remembering him vividly now
As if it were yesterday
Wanna reach out and touch him
But he's too far away
And the both of us have changed
There is no curiosity
As to whether he remembers me
He wants to listen and hear my voice
Becauwe he called the other day you see
But I wasn't there to speak
The pain left a long time ago
But the smells, sounds and sights remain
He hasn't been in my heart for a while
But his memory runs through my veins
His face imprinted on my brain
Remembering us fondly now
We fell in love when we didn't know how
