Some Say
17 May, 2003
Author: Pamela O'Brien
Some say I'm independent
I think that I'm just scared
Trying to prove something
To someone who isn't there
Some say I'm influential
I think I'm just afraid
Of watching other people
As they are watching me fade
Some say I'm insecure
I think that's partly true
My reflection doesn't bother me
But I'm not so sure about you
Some say I'm interesting
I can't argue either way
Funny how people who don't know me
Have so much to say
