A Life Of Their Own
21 April, 2003
Author: Pamela O'Brien
I find that moonlight and sunlight have a life of their own
Like when they shine through a window I don't feel alone in the room
Like their shadows are eyes that pay close attention
And their dominance whispers soft words of protection
One battles at dark with an army of stars
The other illuminates the seas and lands from afar
I know that the moon and sun have a life of their own
Because with them in the sky I never feel alone.
