A song that rings like an echo
Of your heart screaming yes
And your mind warning no

When it reaches your ears
It reminds you of the laughter
But even more of the tears

So you push play once more
Hoping to recapture the moment
You had never felt that way before

A song that sinks into your brain
And rids your body of strength
You wonder if you’ll ever see him again
