Remember That Kiss?
29 March, 2003
Author: Pamela O'Brien
There was a certain quality in the air that night
As we walked dark alleyways guided by the moonlight
Do you remember the way we stood separate from the world?
You, a burdened soul and I, a lost little girl
We found each other in the blackness somehow
Seems so surreal looking back on it now
Remember that kiss? You leaned in
I blushed like we committed a deadly sin
I blushed because that kiss made me feel like a movie star
With the suspense, the dramatic music, the whole nine yards
Do you sometimes reminisce?
About our time together, our passionate love
And love's purest kiss?
