Like Night & Day
9 March, 2003
Author: Pamela O'Brien
In the dark
I become a shadow of somebody else
Simply a silhouette
Stretching across the dusk
Searching for something…..
In the light
I blossom into a beautiful flower
Bursting with enery
Bouncing back and forth
Beckoning you……

MartinV (67.30.64.132) -- Wednesday, March 19 2003, 11:39 pm Pam, I love flowers, especially, those that burst into the sunlight, radiating energy, exlirated by warmth and the desire to be touched, gently and admired. Beats, the dried up wilting effect of the cold, unfeeling darkness. Pam, we all love beautiful flowers, thanks for giving me a look at you. I like what my minds'eye sees. Beckoning you? You tempest you, I got rid of all my animal skins, will pure lust do? Very good poem, Thank You, think I'll give you a pet name if you don't mind, How about Sunray? Then I can begin all my future comments about your poems with, Hey, Sunray. Nobody will know but you and I, and of course, everyone else who loves poem about flowers, as I do. Thank You MartinV |
