Now I Ask Myself
7 March, 2003
Author: Pamela O'Brien
I have seen the darkest depths of hearts
Can’t say that it’s easily forgotten
Decide which path your going to take
Whether or not you are sure doesn’t matter
I have seen the brightest beating of hearts
Don’t think I wouldn’t remember
Love remains like a timeless stain
You know it’s there to stay
Or if you doubt, combine your mind and emotion
If there’s something to be found
I’m sure it jus takes a little devotion
Just ask yourself one question -
Afraid of what?
To Love

Pamela (159.134.136.209) -- Wednesday, March 12 2003, 01:08 am I did indeed put a lot of feeling into this poem and I am grateful that you recognized that. Did you however, catch the hidden message? Not too difficult but it falls in the same basis of topic as the rest of the poem and really, it is the reason I wrote it........ Let me know :o) |
Martin Vann (65.57.58.67) -- Thursday, March 13 2003, 05:16 pm Pam, I felt a sense of courage to move forward, using prior experience as kind of guide. The sour lemon can be made sweet. Thank You, MartinV |

Pamela (194.125.159.8) -- Wednesday, March 26 2003, 07:26 pm You bet sis. Sublte, but obvious at the same time. It is not directed at any one person, just general frustration I guess. I have felt this way about two guys and its annoying the hell out of me! |
