Out Of My Reach
18 February, 2003
Author: Pamela O'Brien
I wish you were the moon
So that no matter where I was
I could look up and see your face
At any given time
In any given place
I wish you were a thought
So that no matter where I was
I could close my eyes and we could dance
In any given moment
At any given chance
I wish I were YOUR smile
So that no matter where you are
When happiness comes to visit
I will never have to miss it

Pamela (159.134.137.31) -- Thursday, February 20 2003, 09:56 pm I really like this one and I am glad you guys did too. I let Derek read it and he nearly cried! Males aren't always as macho as they seem to be - when you give them sweet poems :o) |

Martin Vann (67.75.180.33) -- Monday, February 24 2003, 10:17 pm Pamela, Can you write an answer to this question? It must include Dereks help, just to be fair? This would be fantastic, two hearts speaking about one love shared, do either of you dare? We await your response! MartinV |
Pamela (159.134.137.166) -- Tuesday, February 25 2003, 12:24 am I can respond, but Derek cannot. he doesn't even know about this website you see (it is kind of my personal sanctuary that I prefer not to share with him.) However, I can tell you that I gave this poem to him and his response was that he had never had anyone care this much about him before - except his mother! LOL So I would have to say that he is flattered, and I am not sure about the use of the word "love" because I am not sure just yet. But I do care for him a lot (obviously) and this poem was one of my many ways of showing that :O) All I can hope is that he feels the same for me.... |
