Water Droplets
21 December, 2002
Author: Pamela O'Brien
When my heart begins to get stiff and sore from dehydration,
I sprinkle it with water droplets of vibrant inspiration.
When my mind begins to crack and becomes hardened from exposure,
I sprinkle it with water droplets of elegant composure.
When those who surround me begin to show signs of giving up,
I shower them with water droplets of unconditional love.

Pamela (66.225.130.57) -- Tuesday, May 18 2004, 08:33 pm Martin! My long lost friend! I have been busy indeed and not writing as much as usual, but I am so glad that you have found this old poem of mine and chosen to comment. I used to love this one and I never did hear any feedback until over a year after I wrote it (now). It represents a lot of things, but most of all the way I try to live my life day by day. Thanks again for reading my writing and complimenting it - once again! |
