Wait Until It's Too Late
16 December, 2002
Author: Pamela O'Brien
We sit here waiting,
Just anticipating,
Expecting effortless victory,
Until our entire lives are history.
We sit here waiting,
Just anticipating,
Demanding immediate action,
But we reep no satisfaction.
We sit here waiting,
Just anticipating,
Assuming it will come,
Or that its already been done.
We sit here waiting,
Just anticipating,
Leaving it all to fate,
Until it's much too late.
I sit here waiting,
Just anticipating,
The next move I will make,
Before its too late.

Pamela (66.38.146.29) -- Wednesday, December 25 2002, 02:13 am I guess it was just a generalization of people - I suppose not everyone waits for opportunity to knock. Some people get the wood, carve the door and knock on it themselves :o) LOL But I find most of the time, we expect life to just bring things to us - and happiness is not achieved often this way.... |
