Lucky
10 May, 2002
Author: Barbara Goodhew
I see people that are blind
I hear people in pain.
Some in wheelchairs.
People without their limbs.
I am very lucky, really.
I can see, hear, I have no pain.
I walk and talk different
but at least I still can use my legs and voice.
Someday when I'm better,
I'll be able to have my life of choice.
