Sometimes Simplicity Soothes The Soul

Sometime in the middle of last week,
I decided to allow my subconscience to speak.

Sometime between now and yesterday,
I threw all my inhibitions away.

Sometime in the past few minutes,
I took a moment to treasure my life and all thats in it.

Sometime just a few seconds ago,
I closed my eyes and listened to my blood flow.

Sometime since the first line of this poem,
I lost track of where my train of thought was goin...

Last Two Lines

I noticed that you always comment on the last few lines and I like that - I think an extremely effective poem has a BANG ending that leaves the reader thinking for a few minutes you know? So it means alot to hear you say that the last few lines caught your attention.
