Deception Vs Perfection
10 November, 2002
Author: Pamela O'Brien
There's too much pre-occupation with self-satisfaction
And the world we inhabit is a fading attraction
Everyone sees themself as the one exception
But they have fallen victim to a life of deception
There's too much persistence to try and get a reaction
And the world we inhabit is a raging distraction
Everyone sees themself with clouded perception
But they have fallen victim to a dream of perfection
