Glimpse Of You
21 July, 2002
Author: Pamela O'Brien
I may not know the depths of your soul,
But I know the depth of your eyes
And I haven't felt the beat of your heart,
Nor have I seen you cry
I'll probably never get the chance to share our forbidden secrets,
But your face is in my memory and that is where I'll keep it
And I may not know the crevices of your mind,
But I know the curves of your body
And I haven't come to you for advice,
But I'll remember the things you taught me
I'll probably never have the privelage of seeing you go the extra mile,
But it would take a thousand years of anguish,
To make me forget your smile.

LOL Glad you liked the poem, it was written for a pending romance I have, that I am not really sure will lead where I want it to - but wanted to express that I will take what I can get. |
