Memories Never Cease

You left me crying like a dove,
Floating aimlessly above,
You tossed me careless to the wind,
I tried to fly with broken wings,
And when I found my way back down,
Found my way back to the ground,
I took a look around.....
You took my heart - a souvenir,
You never shed a single tear,
I close my eyes and run away,
>From the part of me that wants to stay,
And if I find my way back home,
To the places we have known,
Will I be all alone.....
Its been so long since I have touched your soul or felt it next to mine,
Maybe that heals with time,
Its been so long since I have seen your smile or looked into those eyes,
Maybe that fades with time,
Every now and then I turn my head up to the sky and wonder why,
It has to be this way for me,
Cuz all I have are all of these,v Sweet Memories.....
