The Galavanter And The Ponderer

I am a ponderer. I often sit and contemplate the world and its inhabitants. Their daily lives, and personal lives. Their emotions and deepest fears. Right now, I am wondering what the galavanter is doing. Perhaps he is having a few laughs with friends at the local establishment. Perhaps he is on a date with another galavanter. A girl galavanter. They are the worst kind. Is it possible that he is thinking of me right this very moment? No, he prefers DOING rather then THINKING. Besides, he's probably distracted with that girl he's with (or shall I say, is probably with) Galavanters, they are unreliable, wrestless creatures. Especially the younger ones. All they want is to keep themselves busy enough that they don't have to deal with life's questions. The only thing they care about is knowing that their phone will ring at least five times a day, and they will be invited out every night for a social event. They want quantity, not quality. Us ponderers on the other hand, we prefer reflective lifestyles. One's that are active to a degree, but also allow time for ourselves, and others (even those who do not think they need it.) Yes, we are happy just to sit in the park and watch the people walk by. We do not feel the need to jump up, start walking with them, and make conversation. Conversation can happen within oneself you know. You just have to find it. Yep, the ponderer and the galavanter. Terribly mismatched I'm afraid. He wants to know the nightlife - and she wants to know the stars

Note to Readers....

This will be continued in small tidbits such as this one, so if you're interested, keep reading as I go - the story does develop.

To Renee...

Hey, I'm surprised anyone even read this, let aloneliked it! I really kinda wrote it as a release of my feelings towards an ex-boyfriend one night when I was upset, but to know that it actually reached somebody makes it so much more then words on a screen.
