Above Our Heads

vinebar

I believe there is a heaven,
It's like a photograph in my mind,
And I can see it whenever I want to.
In my heaven, there are no clouds,
But there's stars - and even though
They seem far away, if you reach,
You can hold them in your hands.
In my heaven, the love I feel inside,
Does not go to waste, but instead,
Touches everybody around me.
In my heaven, there is no day or night,
But there is always a sunset,
That glows like fine champagne,
For all to soak up and watch.
In my heaven, it is silent, no words
Are needed to talk, just our souls,
And everybody gets heard.
In my heaven, there is no such thing,
As a broken heart.
