Dedicated To Seizure

Sorrow, to me, is a great place to be,
It allows for a path to self-discovery.
Despite the times you went too far,
And all of the ones who have stole your heart,
There is something inside your spirit,
Perhaps you should embrace instead of fear it?
As I read your memories,
It has become so clear to me,
That all you have, is all you have to offer - but you will offer all you have.

Hey Pamela...

Well, I just came on to check on some corrections Dreamer was supposed to make and imagine my surprise when I found a work dedicated to me. I read over it several times and found only one part of it I didn't agree with. In the opening line where you are saying "sorrow is a great place to be," I don't personally believe. I would rather be happy if you catch my drift.

Anyway, I'm not going to go into a big tear-jerking auto biography here, I'm just going to say thank you Pamela O'Brien. You don't know how much it meant to see what I do actually means something to someone other than myself. I never had anything written about or for me before and it actually feels good.

You were right on with the ending of your poem and I was actually proud people could understand what I was trying to say. So again I say thank you and I hope to see more of your writings in the near future.

Nice to know

Yeah, I can only imagine the surprise! Well, what happened was I was reading a bunch of your stuff and it seemed wuite obvious tome what you were trying to get through, and I felt that you needed to know that someone recognized it. I am glad to hear that you aren't offended or anything about the poem, I wasn't sure because we don't actually know each other or anything...but I hoped it would reach you on a positive note. In response to your uncertainty about the first line - I don't really mean its a great place to be ALL the time, but I wanted to express to you that sometimes sorrow is the only way to bring about the good - and that if you can see that, you may have hope that it can work out in the end. And when I read your poems I got the feeling that all you wanted was to give what you could to other people, but nobody would really see you for what you were and that sent you down a path of self-destruction. I may not have had the exact same experiences, but I know the feeling :o) So anyways, I am delighted to know that you recieved the poem so well and believe me, if I hadn't recognized your spirit, I'm sure someone else would have.

Your pal in Poetry,
Pamela

Tribute To Seizure

You are better than I am. Much better than I write.

To Don

I am glad that you like my writing, but I have read some of yours and it is also very wel written. Everyone has their own style, and therefore, nobody writes EXACTLY the same - so although you might think I write better than you do, really I just write differently, and you like that.
