A Different Perspective
30 April, 2002
Author: Pamela O'Brien
Don't you ever wonder what it would be like to see
The world that we inhabit from the depths of the galaxy?
Don't you ever wonder what it would feel like to be
Staring at a spot of blue that is the eternal sea?
Sometimes I wonder what it would be like to go
To the moon with all its glory and have its sand between my toes.
Sometimes I wonder what it would be like to know
How it feels inside to stand and watch the Earth as it glows.
We are so determined to keep our lives in control,
We seem to have forgotten about the human soul,
And while most hang their heads and feel rejected,
Some of us know that all it takes is a little perspective.
