Truth

Author: Parnel
He sat one day with the sun and the moon
And the stars gathered round to hear
As he asked the two
If they could talk
What would they say about their fears
Well, the sun spoke first
Being The boldest one
And The Light ruler of the day
And said I have one fear
And just one fear alone
That I’ll lose my light one day
And then the moon
began to speak
With a voice
Soft and low
And said I fear to lose my romantic charm
And be just another one that glows
And then they were silent
And they were all still
As they waited for what he would say
And he then told them both
What is the truth
That all things must pass away
And the sun looked down
And the moon began to cry
And the stars just stared at the two
With a sad and lonely gaze
