Lessons
27 July, 1998
Author: Pilgrim
We have learnt well
By Word and Deed
Example and Exortum
We learned our Lessons early.
They become us
Our Blood our Bread
We rationally defy Them deny Them
Yet our Lessons became us.
We judge ourselves with them
We sentence ourselves with them
We condemn ourselves with them
Our Lessons judge us for them.
We need new Lessons
Lessons we must teach each other
We learned to hide ourselves away, alone with our old ones
To learn new Lessons, we need others.
To learn new Lessons, we need others.
