Way Back Then
21 October, 2003
Author: Pondering Red
way back
in the land of forever summer
when i walked barefoot
and swan like a fish in the lake waters-
way back then
amongst the spirit voices of the forest
and the ten thousand promises of the future,
i was content.
i did not know i was in the land of tao-
afloat in the middle of the smiling lake,
clear waters all around,
crystals shimmering around my toes-
i did not know
that my struggles to flow
to find the balance
to find me ?
would find me,
wanting
yearning
craving
missing
what i had savoured then,
way back when.

Are we not the beauty, the only, remaing sign, of quiet waters, that stil flow throught our heart? Are we not the reflection, of someone, else's heart? You with a pen of silk, each word a feather, and the story told at the end, a rainbow of your love. Thank You P.R. MartinV |
