She Rides Through The Canvas
18 October, 2002
Author: Pondering Red
she rides her bike
gliding through the smooth park path,
huge neighbour trees
on both sides
she recalls views from paintings from France
very tall trees
she rides through the canvas
hair shines brilliant red reflected
from the sun
fall colours flow from her head
her hair follows
winding blowing
sparkling gold crimson
two squirrels stop and stare
cold air trys to penetrate her warmth
strands of hair wrap around her,
shelter from this icy day
store window glass reflects
palettes of more colour,
a painting waiting to happen
a smile forms on her lips
as she rides through the canvas
