Collision Of Heart And Mind
9 October, 2002
Author: Pondering Red
You are fading away, drowning
in a turbulent sea of sorrow,
far from my shore.
I am gliding down small side streets,
where motherly trees embrace me.
Several droplets of rain
are falling from the leaves,
splashing on my brow,
sending me into a crisp clarity.
You are disappearing
and running into nowhere,
far from my many touches.
I am sitting in eclectic cafés
with a hundred artists
as the mists of your shadows
are vaporizing.
You are running backwards
into the core of a pitch black cave,
far from my room of laughter,
full of floating petals
and sparkling champagne.
I am strumming ferociously
as the chords of my anger
are blowing in your direction,
almost strangling your silence.
You are tripping on your words
of many speeches,
as you begin to reach my path.
We are colliding with an impact
of tremendous force,
as rainbow particles explode
and fall from the earth.
You are plummeting
into the far reaches of your inner mind.
I am beginning to reel into my happiness.
Now, many friends are celebrating
with red wine and joyous song.
Bring forth the good foods !
The celebrations have just begun !
